Linda Marston-Reid Blue Spring Tree: Encaustic / collage on wood panel- 40" x 26" 2006
Usually I work thematically on art until I feel the urge to move on. Even though the subject latter changes, there is a thread of continuity in the symbols I use: the dress, houses, or a figure placed in an iconic stance. One of my recurring images is the tree, complete with roots.
